Description: A 1916 Haynes postcard of a"Mother" Bear feeding her 2 cubs. This is an example of a photo reproduced as a hand-colored image. Jack Haynes devised a five-digit numbering system where the first 2 numbers were the year the photo was taken (after 1915) and the last 3 numbers were the sequence of photographs taken that year. This numbering system is referred to as the Haynes 10,000 series.
