Susan is a successful designer and an accomplished quilter. She worked more than a year to develop these state designs. Susan's designs are based on quilt blocks submitted to Hearth and Home magazine, ca. 1907-1912. Readers contributed pieced cloth blocks that represented their respective states. The idea of quilt blocks that symbolize states has remained popular in American quilting culture. Susan's designs are unique and incorporate the name of the state with a matching border. Consider making a family heirloom quilt using all 50 state blocks. The collection of 50 state designs is available at a discounted price.
We are also listing 90 National Park and Monument quilt block designs by Susan Davis. The collage below shows 60 National Park and Monument quilt block designs. These NPS designs are the same format as the state designs and are available to print on your personal printer.
